"Hey Man, Do you guys have on CNN at your work? I'm loving it here! It could only be made better if Barrack was sporting a Duke Sucks T-Shirt."

How are the current political transformations impacting the inter-remedial league this Wednesday night? Glad you asked!
Threezerburn vs. 2 x 12s
Huge props to Salmon's squad for pulling off the upset win over the previously undefeated Ocho last week…even if they did use a few "star candidates" to accomplish the feat. After outcampaigning Ocho, expect 2 x 12s to continue their winning streak with a relatively easier contest against the handler-light Threezerburn. The fact that Threezerburn still doesn't have strong handlers is clearly a matter of politics, as is the fact that ChowareyoustillONLYa4inLeaguewonder isn't playing in IAD. A match-up to watch will be the battle of the political giants: Mark Sizeablemanski on Threezerburn vs. Steve "Stilts" Delroy on 2 x 12s.
Hammers vs. Children of the Corn
After being demolished by the corny kids in our first encounter, the Hammers will be looking for revenge in the form of handing Bo's squad their first loss of the season.
Question: Can the Hammers overcome the loss of our best handler DGo this week?
Answer: Yes We Can.
Question: Can the Hammers bid for discs with the reckless abandon of corn's Pistol Pete
Answer: Yes We Can.
Question: Can the Hammers play shut down D on the many talented cutters on corn?
Answer: Yes We Can
Question: Win or lose, can one lanky Hammer, corn's star handler, and ShamWow's dominant lady enjoy a refreshing post-game chocolate milk?
Answer: Yes We Can!
Ocho vs. Girls and Cups
My expose on Liz 'No Brakes' Drake clearly led to the downfall of Ocho last week. The new administration has ordered me to discontinue my backhanded, undermining, smear campaign…after this week's unmasking of Flyin' Phil Airsoles. Phil was instrumental in leading House of Representatives to a 2nd place finish in CHEO's rec pool last spring due to his speed, endurance, and ability to fly high for hucks misread by yours truly. My advice would be to put Count Juffy of McJufferson on him, in order to distract Phil with stories of his "broken ass". I'll pick Cup to prove the pollsters wrong this week, with Hello Jessie Callahaning the winning point.
Army vs. Grey
This is the point in the season when well coached teams like Grey start to mesh and surpass squads that rely too heavily on individual players. Furthermore, with the change of power, there's a strong anti-Bush sentiment this week that will work against IID's former power couple of RPAlex and Mrs. Bush. For the record, I'd like to unequivocally state that I'm neither for, nor against bush, since it has no effect on performance…in ultimate. Grey to win since Kennifer Langandtall issued a campaign promise to throw less errant hammers than Downtown Dave Brown (who promised me a magazine) will throw errant hucks.
Predicted Quote of the Week:
The Megalomaniacal Mahatma: "Obama might rule the free world, but I rule your fate when you step on field 1!" *evil cackle*
(or more likely "Bad decision James!")
On a serious note, I couldn't be happier that our neighbours south of the border chose change, and wish them and their inspirational leader the best. Until next time, happy hucking!
